ReplyDeleteIn 2002, I signed up for one of these & used it religously for every week's groceries for nearly 2 years. At the end of that 2 years, I had earned enough points to get a $50 gift card. The trouble was that some items required multiple key punches in addition to scanning it. (i.e. scan, then type in the quantity of the item, whether I found it on the shelf of the store, in a cooler, etc.) Like our conversation on FB about couponing it became more trouble than it was worth. Might be worth it to someone else, but it was just sort of a nuisance to me if I couldn't JUST scan each bar code & be done.
Really? that hardly seems worth it! Thanks for the info. I appreciate feedback from someone who's been there!
